Photography has always been a passion of mine. I begin began photography when I was 7, playing around with my father's old Minolta 35mm and progressing along as the "family photographer" and the goto "camera guy". I've transitioned from film to digital and learn something new every time I shoot. There is no shortage of challenges in photography!
I enjoyed photography because it gives me a great way to capture the essence of this beautiful world in which we live. I'm always in search of that ever-elusive "perfect shot" only to realize that, as good as our equipment is or regardless the technique, the subject's natural beauty can only be partly captured by a photograph. My goal is to capture as much of the subject's essence as possible and relay it to the audience.
I live in North East Georgia and enjoy traveling with my wife and two sons. These days my photography centers on my kids and their activities. I enjoy outdoor photography - landscapes and wild life - sports photography and studying interpersonal communication through the lens.
